The opening date for a new discount store has been revealed.

Home Bargains is currently being built on the Horsted Retail Park in Chatham.

It is due to open on Saturday, March 21 - the month when a KFC on the site is also expected to open.

Construction on the park – which will also include an Aldi and a UFC Gym - began last spring.

Plans for the disused site in Maidstone Road were approved in April last year after Toys R Us vacated its premises.

Opening dates for the Aldi and the 24-hour gym UFC Gym have not yet been confirmed.
