Biker injured after crash on the M2 between Sittingbourne and Faversham

A crash between a motorcyclist and a car on the M2 caused delays for other motorists earlier this afternoon.

The crash happened on the coast-bound carriageway between Junction 5 for Sittingbourne and Junction 6 for Faversham, about three miles before the Faversham turn-off.

Initially the smash partially blocked the road and as a result traffic was moving slowly.
