A body has been found in the search for a missing man.

Police officers attended a wooded area near Old Chatham Road, Maidstone, yesterday (June 14), where a man was confirmed dead at the scene.

Formal identification has yet to take place; however, the family of James Waters has been informed.

The 35-year-old, from Chatham, was last seen in Blue Bell Hill at around 5pm on Tuesday (June 10).

His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
