The closure will be in place from south of the junction of Shawstead Road to the junctions with Lords Wood Lane.

Signposted diversions will be in place during the work, which is being undertaken as part of the proposed development for Taylor Wimpey’s Capstone Oaks project.

The development, put forward by the Attwood farming family on land at East Hill, off North Dane Way, Lordswood, was given approval for the first of five phases by Medway Council’s planning.

This granted permission for the construction of 91 detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses next to Capstone Farm Country Park, along with two parking spaces per property and a kickabout field and children’s play area.

Due to the closure, Bus 150 which serves the morning and afternoon school bus service will be diverted via Swift Crescent and Lorsdwood Lane. For more details click here.
