A cannabis cultivation has been uncovered after police were called out to a burglary.
Officers were called to Luton Road, Chatham at around 3am yesterday following reports a window had been smashed at a house.
Police entered the property where they are reported to have found cannabis plants inside two rooms.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and being concerned in the production of cannabis.
He has since been released from custody pending further inquiries.
Last week two community support officers uncovered between 50 and 80 small cannabis plants being grown in the basement of a property in nearby Dale Street.
