Traffic was being held on Blue Bell Hill after a car fire this morning.
Police were called to the A229 Chatham-bound at 9.30am.
A spokesman said: "Officers and Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended and there were no reported injuries."
A temporary road closure was put in place, but it was later lifted.
