CCTV released of man after arson attack on Tiger Moth pub, Chatham

A CCTV image of a man thought to have important information about an arson attack on a pub has been released.

It is alleged two glass bottles containing fuel were thrown at the Tiger Moth in Chatham while customers were still inside.

This led to a blaze which blocked the doorway on May 5 at around 11.15pm.

Police and fire crews attended and no injuries were reported, however significant damage was caused to the entrance and interior of the pub in Highview Drive.

An investigation has led to the arrest of a suspect, aged 23, who currently remains on bail until May 30.

Officers now also want to identify the man in the CCTV image.
