Children's air ambulance called to Cuxton, Medway, landing on football field

An air ambulance landed in a village's football field this morning.

The helicopter had been called out to Cuxton shortly after 9am today.

According to police, the call-out is related to a medical incident.

A spokesman said: "We assisted South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) at the scene of a medical incident at a private address in Cuxton, at 9.10am on Saturday."

The ambulance service said it could not provide any further information due to the incident happening at a private address.
