Police helicopter over Gillingham searching for men breaking into vehicles

The police helicopter was deployed to help officers search for suspected thieves.

Officers were called to a street in Gillingham at 3.25am after receiving reports of two men attempting to break into vehicles.

Officers on the ground searched the area while the chopper circled above after the reported incidents in Court Lodge Road.

The men were not found and police say they are continuing with inquiries today.
