Ahead of the freezing temperatures this weekend rough sleepers are being offered emergency accommodation.

Plans have been put in place by Medway Council to get the homeless off the streets.

The severe weather emergency protocol has been activated.

People with nowhere to sleep should go to Kingsley House, Balmoral Road, Gillingham before 4.45pm.

Those who can't get to Kingsley House on the day can still get emergency accomodation by calling 01634 304400.
