A motorway is now cleared following an accident earlier.

The accident involving two cars just after J4 A278 Hoath Way, Gillingham caused a lane to be partially blocked.

Police spokesman James Walker said; "Kent Police were called at 3.46pm on Friday, June 14 June to a two car collision on the M2 coastbound, just beyond the turn off for junction 4.

"Officers are currently at the scene and, at present, no serious injuries have been reported."
