A lorry has reportedly crashed into the side of a mini on Hoath Way in Gillingham this morning.
Police and paramedics were called out to the crash site near the roundabout for the Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre turn-off at about 8.30am.
One motorist who was travelling from the M2 turn-off into Gillingham, passed the scene and it looked like both the mini and the lorry had been travelling around the roundabout when the collision happened.
The man, who didn't want to be named, said: "A large lorry has crashed into the side of a red mini.
“The driver looked alright in his cab but there was an ambulance there.”
It is not known at this stage if anyone is seriously injured in the smash.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 8.28am on Tuesday, July 18, to reports of a collision between a car and lorry on Hoath Way, Gillingham.
“Officers are currently at the scene with the South East Coast Ambulance Service.”
