One lane was blocked and there was slow traffic on the M2 east bound at junction one for Strood.

Police spokesman Jo Pattison said: "Kent Police was called at 10.34am on Tuesday, July 16 to reports of a collision between a car and a pickup truck on the coastbound carriageway of the A2 near Cobham.

"The truck’s trailer overturned and this has resulted in some bricks obstructing lane one of the carriageway, which was closed to traffic.

"Officers have attended the scene alongside crews from Highways England and no injuries were reported."
