A car and a lorry collided on a busy bypass leading to delays.
The A289 Wainscott Eastern Bypass was partially blocked due to accident on the Four Elms Hill roundabout, which happened just before 2.30pm.
It is not yet known if anyone has been injured.
Traffic was already slow in the area due to roadworks.
The road fully reopened at around 4.15pm.
