Police called after crash on the M2 entry slip road at Junction 4 for Gillingham

There were delays this afternoon after a crash on an M2 slip road.

Police say just one vehicle was involved in the accident on the London-bound entry slip at the Junction 4 turn-off for Gillingham.

No one is understood to have been hurt.

It happened at about 3pm and delays built up in the area but by 4.15pm traffic was said to be coping well.

A police spokesman confirmed: "Kent Police was called to a single vehicle collision on M2 London-bound at 2.59pm on Saturday, April 6.

"The incident happened on the slip road at junction 4. At present, no serious injuries have been reported."
