Delays due to two-vehicle crash on M2 near Hoath Way, Gillingham

Drivers faced long delays this morning after a crash involving two vehicles.

It happened on the coastbound carriageway of the M2 near the A278 Hoath Way in Gillingham.

The road was closed from around 8.10am, and police and paramedics were called to the scene.

Photos taken at the scene showed a white van and a car, which appeared to have been involved in the crash.

Police have confirmed two people were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Both vehicles were recovered, and the road reopened at around 11.45am.
