A motorist has been taken to hospital following a two-car crash which partially blocked a busy road junction.

Two vehicles collided on the Chatham-bound carriageway of the A229 near Blue Bell Hill.

Police were called at 9.20am where one lane was closed.

Arrangements are being made to recover the vehicle and one of the drivers has been taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

According to Kent Highways earlier delays on the A229 have now cleared.
