Firefighters were called out to deal with a blaze in a bedroom.

The crew arrived in Honeysuckle Close, Walderslade, just before 9pm last night, where they found the occupants outside.

Wearing breathing apparatus, they tackled the fire with a main jet hose and two high-pressure jet hoses.

A spokesman for the service said everyone was accounted for and there were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.

They left the scene at 10.38pm.
