Emergency crews were called to a blaze at a car wash this morning.

Firefighters were spotted in Mill Road in Gillingham at around 6am.

A video taken at the scene shows smoke coming from the Medway Hand Car Wash building.

Five fire engines and a height vehicle attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used main jets to extinguish the flames.

There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.

The blaze had been put out by 8am.
