Four fire engines were sent in to tackle the flames as flames and smoke billowed from the property.

Hydrants have reportedly been used to run water across Luton Road from outside the Invicta Social Club.

A spokesman for the fire service said the cause is believed to be accidental after oil caught alight in an oven.
