Firefighters called to Acorn Shipyard, Gas House Road, Rochester

Firefighters tackled a suspicious blaze in a shipyard this morning.

Crews were called to Acorn Shipyard in Gas House Road, Rochester, just before 5am.

A small building was well alight when firefighters arrived.

Crews left the scene at 6.30am.

It is not known how the fire started, but it's believed to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters were called to the shipyard on Sunday afternoon after a blaze broke out in a disused workshop.
