A woman was rescued from her car after it crashed with a van.

Firefighters were called to Maritime Way, St Mary's Island, Chatham at 8.44am today.

Crews worked with paramedics to help remove her from the car.

Police also attended and closed the road while emergency services dealt with the incident.

It reopened at 9.53am.

No injuries were reported.
