Two Chatham men charged after four injured in assault and collision in Blue Boar Lane, Rochester

Two men have been charged after three people were injured in a fight and a woman was hurt in a collision.

On Sunday, January 22 at 3.17am, police were called to Blue Boar Lane in Rochester.

They attended with ambulance crews who treated three men for injuries. Two men were taken to hospital.

It is alleged the suspects had left in a vehicle which collided with a woman, who was a pedestrian, before patrols arrived. She suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Later the same day two men were arrested on suspicion of assault and taken into custody.

Last Monday, 18-year-old Aiman Aziz and 20-year-old Ayoub Omer were charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon. Aziz was also charged with actual bodily harm.

Both men, of Ordnance Street, Chatham, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where they were remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on February 21.
