Taco Bell has partnered up with Major League Baseball who is running their first ever European season in London.

The Mitel & MLB Present London Series 2019 begins with the first game on Saturday, June 29 at 6.10pm followed by the second game on Sunday, June 30 at 3.10pm.

If one of the players from either teams "steals a base" during the games, everyone in the UK can head to their local Taco Bell and claim their free snack.

Once the first base is stolen, everyone will be invited to pick up one free Taco Bell crunchy taco on Thursday, July 4 from 2pm to 6pm at all 38 Taco Bell UK restaurants, while stocks last.

For Kent taco lovers that store is the newly opened Chathan Dockside branch.

Stealing a base is where a player who is standing on a base runs to the next base without waiting for his batting team-mate to hit the ball.

If he gets there before the opposing team can throw the ball to the base and catch him out, known as tagging him, he is safe.

MLB history shows it’s not a matter of “if” but “when” a base will be stolen.

Marketing Director at Taco Bell Europe, Katie Taylor, said: “Taco Bell UK fans experience free taco F.O.M.O. every time we run this campaign in the U.S. during the World Series, so we’re thrilled to bring this initiative in tandem with the first-ever Major League Baseball games in London.

"What better way to celebrate America’s favourite pastime in the UK with a chance to try America, and now the UK’s favourite taco for free?”
