Police release image after teenage girl 'sexually assaulted' in Gillingham

Police hoping to track down a sex attacker who allegedly preyed on a teenage girl have released this image.

Officers are investigating the sexual assault in Gillingham.

It's reported to have taken place in Rock Avenue at the junction with Montgomery Road just after 6pm on Sunday August 20.

A man was arrested on Sunday, September 3, but later released without charge.

Now they have compiled this computer-generated image of the suspect.

The victim, a teenage girl, was walking along Rock Avenue when a man exposed himself and touched her in an inappropriate manner.

She then shouted at the man and he ran in the direction of the A2.

He is described as aged in his mid-20s, approximately 5ft 6in tall, slim with stubble, and dark brown hair which was short at the front and unkempt at the back.

He is said to speak with an eastern European accent and was wearing a navy blue sports type jacket, black shorts and black sandals.
