The fundraiser on Saturday, May 31, will be packed with activities – including youth team matches, auctions and raffles to win prizes, face painting and much more before kick off at 3pm.

It’s set to be a day full of fun, all for an incredible cause.

The fundraiser is in aid of My Shining Star, a children’s cancer charity based in Rainham.

The non-profit organisation is close to Rob and Numi’s hearts, and kmfm have previously supported it during their Christmas toy appeal, Give a Gift.

Numi, who signed Rob up for the match, said: “As soon as we were contacted by Rochester City Football Club about promoting this event, I knew we had to do something special.

“We’ve seen first-hand the amazing work My Shining Star does in our community and we wanted to help as much as we could.

“So I asked if Rob could play on the team, and they said yes!

“We would absolutely love it if you could come and support the team (and Rob!) and help us raise as much money as possible for this brilliant charity.”

Rob added: “I’m really excited to be joining the Rochester City Football Team for a day!

“They know I am no Ronaldo, but that doesn’t matter because My Shining Star charity is a phenomenal local charity and they need our support.

“So if we can use the show and ask our listeners to come and cheer us on, it will make a big difference – plus, can you imagine if I actually score! No, nor can we!”
