Man threatened with knife in Gillingham robbery

A man had his phone and bank card stolen when robbers allegedly threatened him with a knife.

Police are seeking witnesses after the crime in Gillingham High Street between 12.30am and 1.05am yesterday.

The victim was on his way home when he was said to have been approached by two men. One man then held up a small knife to the victim before they stole his mobile phone and a bank card. They then fled.

After the incident he was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, but wasn't injured.

The suspects have been described as white with one man being slim and the other of a medium build. They both had tops with hoods worn up.

One suspect was described as wearing a navy top with blue jeans and black trainers.
