FC Grand vs Burham and Istead Rise Colts Utd vs Bredhurst Juniors have been postponed after the individual displayed the symptoms last Saturday after he played against Bredhurst.

Sporting fixtures across the county have recently been called off in an attempt to stop the spread of Covid-19.

League secretary Terry Lawrence said: "One person has shown symptoms of the virus from FC Grand.

"The symptoms were first spotted last Saturday when FC Grand played Bredhurst Juniors and anybody that played in the game could have been in contact with him, so we have taken the precaution to call off the fixtures.

"The player, who has not been diagnosed with the virus, is currently undergoing tests and the games have been called off as a precaution.

"As a responsible competition we have taken the safety-first view and we would rather postpone the matches than put people's health at risk.

"Their games will be off for the time being and we will have to make a decision once we get the results of his tests.

"As and when we get the results we will make the decision for the rest of the league."
