A228 Sundridge Hill in Cuxton closed after crash between car and van

A road was closed after a crash between a car and a van.

Police were called to the A228 in Cuxton near Strood following the collision on Sundridge Hill.

The route was shut at 3pm to allow the recovery of the vehicles, leading to long queues towards the M2.

It was closed in both directions but no injuries have been reported, a police spokesman confirmed.

The road reopened shortly after 5.30pm.
