Man arrested after police called to Livingstone Road, Gillingham, after woman fell ill

A man has been arrested after police were called to 'concerns for the welfare' of a woman.

Officers were called to Livingstone Road, Gillingham, just after 7pm last night after the woman fell ill.

A 46-year-old man from Gillingham was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.

He remains in custody.

Two police forensics vans were spotted at the scene this morning.

No details have been released about the woman's condition.
