Police called to Knights Road in Hoo near Rochester after teen ‘seriously assaulted’

A man has been arrested after a teenage boy was taken to hospital with facial injuries after an incident near a parade of shops.

Police were called to Knights Road in Hoo, near Rochester, at around 11.26pm last night after reports of a “serious assault”.

A police spokesman said: “Patrols attended the scene and a teenage boy was taken to hospital with facial injuries.

“He has since been discharged.”

A Medway man, 26, was arrested on suspicion of assault and an investigation into the circumstances is under way.

He was released on bail until Friday, May 2.
