Man arrested after alleged stabbing in Tamar Drive in Strood

A man has been arrested after an alleged stabbing.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was rushed to a London hospital after police were called to Tamar Drive in Strood at about 7.10pm yesterday.

It is understood the air ambulance landed in nearby Northcote Park off Northcote Road.

Another man, believed to know the victim, remains in custody after the assault.

Police said inquiries are continuing.

The victim has since been discharged from hospital.

The man who was arrested was subsequently released without charge.
