A man has been charged with dangerous driving while on a ban following a police chase.

Officers in patrol cars pursued the Peugeot after being called to Station Road in Strood yesterday.

The chase ended at about 3.20pm in Forge Lane, Higham.

Jordan McGrath-Caulstock, of Northwood Road, Tonbridge, has been charged with dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving while disqualified and going equipped for theft.

The 20-year-old is due to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court today.
