Teenager hurt after 20ft fall from scaffolding in Freshwater Road, Princes Park, Chatham

A teenager has been taken to hospital after he fell 20ft from scaffolding.

Paramedics were called to Freshwater Road, Princes Park at 10.10am to reports a man had suffered a fall.

The 17-year-old was conscious when he was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital by road ambulance. He suffered a hip injury.

A woman reported on social media that the air ambulance had been called to her house after a scaffolder had fallen.

South East Coast Ambulance Service sent one ambulance and two cars to the scene.

The air ambulance was also called and landed in a nearby park.
