A man is still in hospital following a disturbance in Chatham at the weekend following which five men were arrested.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene of the disturbance at an empty property on New Road at 2.20pm on Saturday. Witnesses reported seeing up to six police cars at the scene.
A police spokesman said: "One man was taken to a London hospital with injuries thought to be serious. He remains in hospital in a stable condition."
The air ambulance was called but he was taken to hospital by road with injuries to his head and torso.
He is thought to have a lung injury which is neither life threatening or life changing.
The five men who were arrested have since been released on bail.
Two 40-year-old men from London, a 39-year-old man, also from London, and a 29-year-old man from Chatham, were arrested on suspicion of assault. A fifth person - a 40-year-old man from London - was arrested on suspicion of affray.
The 29-year-old has been bailed until 24 March. The four other men were bailed until 23 March.
