Air ambulance called to Chapel Lane, Pilgrims Way

A man was air lifted to hospital after being injured by a tree.

Fire crews and ambulance were called to Chapel Lane off Pilgrims Way, Upper Halling at around 2pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, July 31).

The man suffered a leg injury thought to be caused by a tree.

SECAmb spokesman Rich Airey said: "Ambulance crews attended land off Pilgrims Way, Halling, responding to reports of a person with a leg injury caused by a tree.

"The air ambulance landed and took the person to hospital Tunbridge Wells."
