Officers called to High Street in Strood following an assault

Police were called out after a man was assaulted and knocked to the floor.

Officers attended the High Street in Strood at 1.15pm on Saturday after a report that a man and woman had been assaulted by a man.

Their injuries are described as minor.

An assault was reported outside a row of shops in the High Street, Strood.

The suspect left the scene towards Station Road.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Kent Police by calling 01634 792209 quoting reference 13-0595.
