A man seen on the wrong side of Rochester Bridge's railings was brought to safety on Thursday evening.
Kent Police were called to the scene at 6:53pm amid concerns for the welfare of the man.
The man was reportedly talked down for the bridge by officers.
The bridge was closed whilst the incident was dealt with.
