Air ambulance takes man to hospital after Chatham alleyway stabbing

A man was airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in the stomach and now detectives are appealing for witnesses.

He was injured in an alleyway between Thorold Road and Luton Road in Chatham on Friday evening.

The victim, a 47-year-old man, suffered a stab wound to the stomach and was taken to a hospital in London in the air ambulance.

Police are appealing for information from witnesses who may have seen the incident, which took place between 4.30pm and 5.10pm.
