Police appeal for information after man sustains head injury in Rochester High Street

A man who was found in a high street with a serious head injury at the weekend is still in hospital.

The victim, who is in his 20s, suffered the injury in Rochester High Street at the weekend.

The incident took place between 8pm on Friday (April 11) and 3am on Saturday (April 12).

Officers are working to ascertain what happened to the victim, who remains in hospital, and the exact location of the incident.

PC Evie Cousins said: “We are urging anybody who was in Rochester during the evening of Friday, April 11 and into the early hours of Saturday, April 12 and saw a man being assaulted to call our appeal line.

“Motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to contact us if they have relevant footage”.
