Man's face slashed with a knife in Prince of Wales pub in Rochester

A man slashed another man’s face in a pub after being asked to finish his drink.

Officers are investigating the assault which happened in the Prince of Wales Pub in Cecil Road between 1am and 2am on March 10.

The victim is believed to have been helping the landlord who was asking people to finish their drinks when there was a slight commotion.

He walked towards a group of people when one man is said to have taken out a knife and started waving it around before cutting the victim’s face and leaving.

The suspect is described as a white man, around 5ft 8in tall and of slim build.
