Dramatic footage has captured the moment a mass brawl broke out in Gillingham following the funeral of teenager Kyle Yule.
Officers were called to Toronto Road at around 9pm last night where people reported seeing dozens fighting in the street.
It is thought the trouble started in Redfern Avenue, outside Priestfield Stadium, where Kyle's wake was held in the afternoon.
A video has been posted online which shows fighting in Toronto Road. Screaming and shouting can be heard.
Another video shows a procession of police cars racing to the scene.
One woman said she saw girls getting hit and called an ambulance because she thought someone had been stabbed.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at around 9pm on Monday, November 20, to a report of a group of people causing a disturbance in the Toronto Road and Redfern Avenue area of Gillingham.
"Officers attended and dispersed the group.
"A man was arrested for affray and was taken to a local hospital as a precaution. He was subsequently discharged from hospital and remains in custody at this time.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
Kyle Yule was fatally stabbed near his home in Gillingham on Friday, October 6.
A court hearing was told how Kyle was chased from a car in East Street as rival gangs clashed.
