Emergency services have been called to a "medical emergency" on the M2 bridge.
One of the four lanes is blocked on the London-bound carriageway of the M2 Medway Bridge, just before Junction 2 A228 Sundridge Hill, which is the exit for Strood and Rochester.
Despite the closure, traffic is said to be coping well.
