Mobile home in Knight Road Strood destroyed by fire

A mobile home caught alight in the early hours of this morning.

Fire and rescue crews were called to Knight Road, in Strood, after receiving reports of the blaze.

At 1am today three fire engines reached the mobile home and crews used a main jet to extinguish the flames.

By the time the fire was out the property had been destroyed.

No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.

It appears the property was not being lived in and was used as a commercial unit.
