Jury in Levi Webb trial visit Rochester Bridge where Peter Beale was found stabbed

The jury in the Rochester Bridge murder trial today visited the scene where a man was found dead with stab wounds.

They travelled by coach from Maidstone Crown Court on the second day of the hearing in which Levi Webb, 22, is accused of killing Peter Beale after a drug deal allegedly went wrong.

The judge, and barristers including defence QC Oliver Saxby, police officers and security staff made the journey to Medway.

Webb, from Station Road, Northfleet is one of two men accused of murdering 39 year old Mr Beale from Sittingbourne in September last year.

Billy Dole, 28, of Chorister Close, Hoo pleaded guilty to murder at an earlier hearing and is awaiting sentence.

The jurors walked a quarter of a mile from where the victim met a drug dealer to where his body was found near Rochester Bridge from wounds in his back, neck and leg.
