A large pile of potted weed has been discovered on an industrial estate.

The marijuana was found at around 6am on the Medway City Estate, in Strood.

Chris Ripley was on his way to work and discovered the pile dumped on a grassy verge in George Summers Close.

In the video he said: "Drove down the road this morning coming to work.

"Look what's dumped in the road.

"Someone obviously had to get rid of all their stash really quick.

"Unbelievable. Someone has either been chased or had to get rid of it."

Police spokesman James Walker said: "Police were called at 6.06am on to a report a number of cannabis plants had been discarded in George Summer’s Close, Rochester.

"The plants have been seized and inquires to establish the full circumstances are ongoing."
