Witness plea after fight in Brompton High Street involving dog walker and two men in Mercedes Sprinter van

A woman who stepped in when a dog walker was attacked by two other men early one morning is being sought by police.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was walking his two dogs in Brompton High Street at 7am on Friday, December 20 when it is alleged he was assaulted.

He became involved in an argument with two men who were in a parked up Mercedes Sprinter van.

The attack left him with a cut to his face and a fractured arm.

PC Jessica Edwards said: “Our investigators have completed a number of enquiries, including the examination of CCTV footage, and have traced a suspect who has been interviewed under caution.

“We are now appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact us.

“We would particularly like to speak to a woman with a brown and white dog who sought to intervene during the incident.”
