Man robbed and assaulted near Longley Road in Rochester

A man in his 20s was allegedly assaulted before two men stole cash and tobacco from him.

Witnesses are being sought following the incident that happened in an alleyway between Longley Road and Rocehster Avenue in Rochester at around 5pm last Wednesday.

It is reported the victim was assaulted in the alleyway as he walked past the two individuals. The suspects ran off in the direction of John Street.

They are both described as being white. One was aged in his 30s, around 6ft and with dark hair.

He was wearing a dark padded jacket and black tracksuit bottoms that were covered in white paint.

The second was of similar age, of stocky build and around 5ft 8in. He was wearing a blue or black jumper and blue jeans.
