Police called to ‘disturbance’ at car park in Magpie Hall Road, Chatham

Police were called to a car park after reports of a weapon being present.

Officers attended the scene near The Victory Academy in Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, just before 5pm yesterday after reports of a disturbance involving a small group of people.

It was alleged a weapon may have been present.

At least three police vehicles were seen at the scene, at the entrance to the school.

However, following a search, no weapon was located.

Those present were given words of advice, and no further police action was required.

The Victory Academy has been approached for comment.
