The property was known to have been used as a drug base previously and when officers spotted people in the queue who were known drug users, they knocked on the front door.

After they were let inside they headed upstairs where they found Crosdale with the Class A drugs.

The 19-year-old was sentenced to two years and eight months at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday for possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Dan Bister said: "Crosdale’s arrest and subsequent detention is down to proactive policing by officers with good local knowledge.

"He came to Medway with the sole intention of making money out of people suffering from substance abuse.

"He cared little for the disruption and misery drug abuse brings about and his prosecution sends a very clear message that drug dealing will not be tolerated in Medway."
